Bob Taylor became Chief Executive of KHT in 2005 after joining the Trust in 2002.  Bob has over 30 years of experience in housing related activities in both local government and housing associations. He has overseen some significant changes within the KHT Group in that time such as leading the changes that saw a positive inspection result in 2007 built on increasing the role of tenants in shaping services, setting up the hugely successful Knowsley Advantage model of providing extra support and opportunities to help change people’s lives and achieving significant growth in the commercial arm of the Group through KHT Services.

The Regenda Group, Head of Asset Management

John worked in the NHS Estates for 5 years providing design services for healthcare properties in the North West prior to entering Housing in 1997 working for North British Housing. At North British John held the role of Technical Services Manager dealing with responsive and planned maintenance for 5000 residents. North British became part of the Places for people Group and John headed up the development of a new in-house self delivery maintenance service for the North West managing 14,000 units of stock. John then moved on in November 2006 to join the Regenda Group and now holds the position of Head of Asset Management. This role has Group wide responsibility for reinvestment work and service contracts.

Wayne joined SLH Group as Executive Director of Operations in November 2007.  Wayne is responsible for all frontline customer facing services including Customer Services, Tenancy and Income Management, Responsive and Planned Maintenance, Community Safety, Supporting People Services, as well as Regeneration and Development activity.  Wayne has over 20 years experience within the sector, starting his career in the Midlands working for a Local Authority as a Building Surveyor, he later moved to the North West and joined Riverside HA as Property Services Manager, before moving to CDS Housing where he held a number of positions before joining SLH as Director of Operations.  Wayne is a Chartered Surveyor, an Associate of the Chartered Management Institute and graduate of John Moore’s University

The Riverside Group, Director of Regeneration

Mark’s current position with Riverside is Director of Regeneration, where he is leading on the development of 500 affordable homes each year for The Riverside Group. This includes leading The Riverside Partnership, the largest Partnering team to access Housing Corporation Funding outside of the South East. Mark was previously Director of Riverside Home Ownership, the Division that specialised in the marketing, sale and management of affordable home ownership initiatives. As well as managing over 2,700 leasehold homes, Mark was responsible for developing new business in affordable home ownership including the sale of aver 100 shared ownership homes a year.

Helena Partnerships, Director of Assests and Development

Steve’s current role for Helena Partnerships includes management of the in-house contractor (Propertycare) workforce, asset management and growth and new opportunities, including the new build development programme. He also has responsibilities around the company’s Repairs and Maintenance Partnership, environmental sustainability and accommodation strategies.  Steve has extensive experience across major investment projects in both social and private sector housing. He has worked on a variety of partnership initiatives and has considerable experience of approaches to resident involvement in investment initiatives. His housing experience encompasses housing strategy development and operational delivery.

Plus Dane Housing Group, Managing Director, Enterprising Neighbourhooods (Merseyside)

Gerard has worked in the public and private sectors, in Europe for over 25 years. He has worked for a range of private sector companies which include Kellogg's, Proctor and Gamble, ICI and several North West Universities. Gerard has been a Civil Servant on two occasions and in Germany and France Gerard worked for a number of private sector construction and service industries. He has worked for Manchester City Council, Rochdale MBC, Dudley MBC, Birmingham City Council, London, and in Liverpool City Council creating many innovative service solutions. He has developed a consultancy (T.I.C.) which has delivered practical resolutions in a wide variety of Cities, Towns and into neighbourhoods, as far apart as Newcastle and Yekaterinburg, Russia. Presently MD for the Plus Dane Group, Gerard is exporting the 25 years of learning through the wider work of the Group.
