Site Visit to KME Yorkshire
Fusion21 along with some of our partners and clients attended a site visit at Yorkshire Copper Tube.
The visit was organised to help celebrate the 60th anniversary of Yorkshire Copper Tube commencing production at their Kirkby factory. The factory employs over 260 people from the local area and operates a 24 hour, 5 day a week production schedule.
Yorkshire Copper Tube was invited to take part in the Fusion21 concept back in 2002, and the purpose of this visit was to allow Fusion21 and our partners to conduct a scheduled review meeting.
During the visit all guests were given the opportunity to visit the factory and encouraged to support the company to help sustain local employment initiatives.
Partners who attended the visit included The Graham Group, Booths, Integral, Kinetics, Rothwell Plumbing Services, Wirral Partnership Homes and Golden Gates Housing.
Joe McCabe, Sales Manager at Yorkshire Copper Tube commented, “We were delighted to host a visit for Fusion21 and their contract partners. KME Yorkshire have been involved in the Fusion21 concept since the beginning, we have always aimed to work hard to ensure the best interests of all involved in these partnerships are achieved.”
He further added, “I would like to give special thanks to Dave Neilson Chief Executive of Fusion21 for his long term support of KME Yorkshire.”
